Fall Sports at Hopkins

Welcome to THE NEST, the student cheering section of Homewood field.

Welcome to THE NEST, the student cheering section of Homewood field, where you’re likely to hear the chant, “GO HOP!”

The Homewood campus is an energized, lively place. Along with their hard work in the classroom, lab, or library, our students are also part of a spirited athletic community. Whether they’re varsity athletes on one of our Division III teams (or Division I lacrosse), members of one of our many sports clubs, or working out in our state-of-the-art Rec Center, our Blue Jays love being a part of their active campus.

Current highlights from fall sports at Hopkins:

Our football team recently added another “W” to their six game season-opening winning streak, also edging the Blue Jays up to 27 straight wins in the regular season.

Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams had impressive showings at the recent Rowan Border Battle.

Players from both the men’s and women’s soccer teams were recently named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

It’s easy for all students to stay in shape at Homewood. Our Rec Center is fully stocked with a gym, raised track, and rock-climbing wall. A stroll around our 140-acre campus is also good for the heart—and soul! (Stop by to experience it for yourself with a daily tour.)
