Spring Fair 2016

Spring Fair

Spring time at Hopkins boasts blooming flowers, warm weather, lacrosse, Homecoming, alumni weekend, and many more exciting traditions—read all about them here. One of our favorite Hopkins traditions, Spring Fair, begins today!

Check out last year’s student produced video highlighting Spring Fair excitement!

Billed as the largest student run festival in the country, this three-day event brings food and arts and craft vendors, a beer garden, and live performances to the Homewood campus. All are invited to enjoy in the festivities, including Hopkins students, faculty, staff, and nearby community members.

Here’s what current Hopkins students have to say about their Spring Fair experiences:

“I laughed and relaxed with friends, ate some life changing fried Oreos, and enjoyed the beautifully crisp weather.” Amy D. ’18

“Spring Fair weekend is a time where Hopkins students have the time to buy crafts from local vendors, eat food not served at the FFC or Levering, and to get out of the library for a while. The highlight of Spring Fair is the concert (Although some may argue it is the Beer Garden), which this year will be headlined by THE CHAINSMOKERS! The concert is always a great time for the Administration, as well as programming groups on campus, to give back to the student body.” Josh B. ’18

“After class lets out, I fully plan on taking advantage of all of this by getting classic Spring Fair food, sitting on the Beach with my friends, and soaking up the sun to my heart’s delight. On Friday night, there’s a concert; this year it’s Chainsmokers, Shwayze, and Marion Hill, so I already have my ticket and I’m super excited to go. Saturday and Sunday is just more food, more sunshine, spring themed activities, and just getting to appreciate the simplicity of hanging out with my friends.” Joanna S. ’18

“This is probably the best few days on campus of the whole year.” Jackie R. ’16
