The Homewood campus is a bit quieter as many of our students have headed home for summer break. Aside from relaxing in the sunshine with family and friends, many Hopkins students are making the most of their summer by taking classes, studying abroad, and making an impact in their community.
Meanwhile, we’ve been busy planning a multitude of summer events for you and your family! Register for the following events by clicking the links below:
Information Sessions and Tours – We’re offering our regularly scheduled daily visits on weekdays and select Saturdays. The events offer an information session led by an admissions representative and a guided tour with a current student.
Visit add on: Summer Series – On selected dates this summer, families are encouraged to pair their visits with a Summer Series presentation designed to introduce a specific aspect of the Hopkins experience. Topics will include women in STEM, succeeding in the humanities, the impact of a liberal arts education, premed at Hopkins, and financial aid. Students can RSVP online.
Breaking Down the College Search: Application Workshops – July 13, 15, 20, and 22 – Join us on the Homewood campus for a chance to learn how to prepare your strongest application. These limited-space, on-campus workshops are an excellent resource for students who are starting the college search process. Go to apply.jhu.edu/summerworkshop to learn more and register. (Advance registration is required.)
Hopkins Previews: July 9, 16, 23, and 30 – Held on selected Saturdays throughout the summer, these events include an information session, current student panel, and campus tour. It’s great chance to hear from current students, ask questions, and get a feel for campus life. Space is limited, so RSVP today.
