So the mid-semester stress has started.  Now don’t freak out and think that Hopkins is overwhelming, but its midterm season in colleges across the country.  All the knowledge that they’ve crammed into our heads is forced back up to the surface.

I’ll throw some updates your way:

  • The Open House season is finished so thanks to everyone who came out for that.  If you didn’t get a chance to visit try your best to get to campus and check it out.  The Homewood Campus is possibly the nicest in the country and you may end up on one of my tours!

  • For those interested in the Film and Media Studies Program keep posted on the new website that is being updated with short films from both professors and students.  Also on that note, I got a job TA-ing a production class next semester.  Since we have no graduate program, some undergrads get a chance to work alongside professors (and get paid) to assist with classes.  I am one of those lucky few for spring semester.

  • Finally, the election season is almost coming to a close and with a heated race, the Hopkins campus is very politically involved.  Check out the message boards for some HI students’ opinions.  If you are 18, I strongly encourage you to vote.  I think this is a very important election that will determine the future of our country for many many years to come.

Also, check out the video posted on this blog and the updated one from my previous blog … And remember: “Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.”
