So last Saturday was Culture Show.
Hmmmm? What exactly is Culture Show? The official description is found on the website of JHU’s Office of Multicultural Affairs (the office that puts on the annual show):
“a collaborative showcase of artistic cultural expression celebrating the many cultures represented & embraced by Hopkins students. It was established in 1987 as part of CultureFest, a tradition founded to promote understanding and appreciation of cultural differences. CultureFest has since evolved into CultureSCAPE: a series of events, performances and programs that cultivate the appreciation and understanding of the many cultures at Johns Hopkins throughout the year. We hope you enjoy the show tonight and look forward to seeing you at upcoming CultureSCAPE events.”
In other words and EXCITING time of the year when the different dance, a cappella, and performance groups audition to get a spot to show their unique talents to the larger JHU community.
I collected various Snapchats and awesome photographs by a friend (shout out to Cindy for her amazing photography skills) to show some of the amazing talent from Saturday.
